Popularized during the Victorian era, these bowls were designed to display roses and other blooms, complete with intricate pierced covers that hold each stem perfectly in place. While they make beautiful floral centerpieces, I also love using mine to hold matches next to a candle or simply styled on a shelf or coffee table.
